Mort from Torment in BG2? But...

Just a quick one.

I D/L (among other things) a MOD that allows Mort (my fav from Torment) in as a BG2 NPC! :) Even managed to install it right and get it to work. :) :)

Just one question - BEFORE I use the "Dungeon Be Gone" (I have played the game A LOT!) where do I FIND Mort as NPC? Really all I want to know is if I aquire him somewhere OTHER than the first dungeon.

This will be my Last stupid question, I swear.

By the way, I didn't know if I should make a seperate thread for this comment, but I just wanted to say that - though a newbe here, I have really been helped and Love this forum.

Thank You. (We Minotaurs are polite, too. :) )

My first advice would be to look at the mod's readme file (I guess it has one ?)
;)
Generally you can find the location of AddOn NPCs there.

Oh, and welcome to the forums :D

Or maybe search on the page you've downloaded the mod from.

Yeah, welcome Minotaur!

Thanks for the Welcome. :)

Per your suggestion: NO, actually it DOESN'T have a readme file or ANY documentation at all so far as I can tell. :(

I got it at: http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/index_editors2.htm

And the only thing there was the descrip which was:

Ignus & Morte Custom Chars

Ignus and Morte, two NPCs from Planescape: Torment were re-created to work with BG II. Both come with their respective portrait and custom sounds.
Kudos to B. B. Hart for letting us have them!

Plus the option to D/L - So you can see the problem.

Any information about where in the game I can pick Mort up would be warmly received.

I looked at the .zip from sorcerers.net briefly and saw the characters in there are .chr files.
That means they are not joinable NPCs but characters you can import and play as your main character. (or import as characters for a multiplayer game)
