While I've only played the PC version, I'm positive you can have a romance in both. However, I beat the game three times, and managed to get to the end of it only once (but then again, the other two times were Dark Side). Can't be any more specific, because I just don't remember. All I know is I tried talking to her every single time I entered the Ebon Hawk etc. (sometimes going back and forth a few times in a row) so I was sure to trigger every bit of conversation along the way.

I heard that if you messed up her relationship with he rmother, then the romance subplot will end.

This could very well be true. The only time I got to romance Bastila was when I was Light Side and got her to make up with her mother. The other times I told her to keep the Holocron, and had no romance.

Not even the romance on the Star Forge when you try to redeem her? (If you're on the light side). Same applies to Carth's quest. If you kill Dustil, you will not get any romance dialogue.

I've done the romance thing a few times and this last time she pulls me off to a private room on the Ebon Hawk and I get a kiss. Of course I wanted more! :D

P.S. I've played women twice in the game and never gotten the romance thing with Bastilla. Where's that dang San Francisco Mayor when you need him?! :p :o :D

No, my question was, did you (Male PC) get the romance dialogue on the Star Forge when you tried to redeem Bastila on the Star Forge if you screwed up her relationship with her mom?

The only time I screwed up the relationship with her mom I was playing a woman character, so no I didn't get it. :)

I've removed a couple of posts that gave away spoilers, and were reported by readers who were irate over their contents. Please--if you're going to post spoilers, do as the site owner's sticky thread requests: put that fact at the top of your post, and either drop down 10 lines or so before starting the post, or add it in black-on-black, so highlighting is necessary. Thanks.

I have that guide too, but the info given there is not accurate. I even mocked Bastila and I still got the romance dialogue on the Star Forge. Yes, if you mess up her relationship with her mom, you will not get anymore romance dialogue. Don't believe me, try it and see it for youself. What I'm curious is that, will u get those dialogues on the Star Forge after messing up her relationship with her mom, coz I never try to take the game that far, after messing up the relationship.

i just tried it both ways, leaving on good terms with mom and bad, found out that you still get to talk to her if it ends good, quits if its bad. the book also said you have to wait til the 3rd star map and i got though the kiss too.

so i have a Q what happens next should i keep talking to her or not? im playing the darkside this time.......

Well, when I played the dark side (messing up her relationship with her mother), I did not get any romance dialogues, but I never tried to bring the game further, czo I was just testing to see if I would still get those romance dialogues after messing up her side quest. From what I heard, you'll still not get any romance dialogues with her even after collecting the remaining star map should you mess up her relationship with her mom. But just try talk to her again, and see if you get any more dialogues after collecting those remaining star maps. Tell me the outcome of it, thanks.

You mean should you talk to her after the kiss? Well, if you don't want to mess up the romance dialogue at the Temple Summit, do not mention anything about the kiss. You can talk to her about other things though.

how about how you respond on the leviatan when being asked Q's by Saul????? does it change the outcome at the temple???

I tried that and no, it doesn't affect anything, Some said if you choose "I kpt queit to see you suffer", then the romance sub quest would end. I did that, and I still got the romance conversation at the Temple Summit, so it doesn't affect the romance plot.

Love is in the air?

And howz about if yer main character is a female and Carth starts to make remarks?

I'm only on Taris, but Carth calls 'me' sweetheart and stuff.
I you don't want to spoil, plz just tell me if I can get a nice movie out of this... I'd love to see how this developes and if I can get Carth to kiss 'me' or something... :p
