Maybe a stupid question but are there any romances in bg1? I know they exist in bg2 but what about bg1? I searched the forum but didn't find any or doe someone else know where to find it?

There are no romances in BG1 like the ones in BG2 (where a party member has a sustained relationship with your main character). But there is a hint of romance in a couple of places. For example, if your main character is female, one of the denizens of the island where Balduran was lost professes a romantic interest in your character. That's probably not what you were looking for, though.

And some of the NPCs flirt with each other. I know of Coran/Safana and I think Garrick has the hots for someone, but I can't recall whom.

Also, there's the romance between Eldoth and Skie.

And we know how that turned out in BG2

Von Dondu, what you said about a female character on WW Island goes for male character's too.

It would be great if someone would make a romance mod for BG1 =cough=Safana=cough=.
