Finnally i have found out something about this game. Beeing quite new to RPG and having just played NWN with a wizard I wasn't that comfortable with these sort of games.

I do have one question though. My "by now lvl 5) cleric wont heal anyone. I can use the wand he is carrying to heal, but if I use the other option he has (the heal option from the radial menu) he does something and I can see the text "healing succeded" above the caracter, but it doesn't show on that caracters hit bar.

Does anyone has an explenation for this? It seems to be a mystery for me.

Healing is different from curing

The healing option from the radial menu refers to the Healing Skill. This is used to stabilize characters that are down and dying with negative hitpoints, or to help treat characters with disease or poison by improving their saving throws. The healing skill does not cure damage.

In order to cure damage, you need to either memorize cure spells and cast cure spells, or pitch other spells (use shift while highlighting the spell). There are potions/wands of heal which is one of the highest level cure spells in the game, but otherwise, all the damage removal spells will be listed as Cure [XXX] Wounds where XXX is minor, light, moderate, serious or critical.
