i read the other romance posts.

just wondering...

i got 3 starmaps (dantoine, tatooine, kashyyyk)

i talk to bastila and all, she brings me in a 'quiet place for intimacy'

and tells me: you wont like this, but i cant let my feelings overwhelm me.... blablabla... we must stop Malak...blablabla... It's part of my Jedi training.... and she leaves, no kiss....

is the romance over? or are we jsut postponing it for the next star map?

hope i didnt screwed it, cuz i saved after and i really wanted to see what happens next. its my first character, i dont know what happens in the end.. i heard characters killing eachother (spoiler posts).. i wanted to see if the relationship could lasted...

anyway, can someone answer.. is my romance story over?

if the screen went blank for a sec i think thats the kiss.....

See what I miss out on by only playing female characters?

no, i didnt miss the kiss screen...it didnt go black..

bastilla simply said she should put her feelings aside and that we must concentrate on killing malak...

its my first time playing the game...i heard the romance story was after the 3rd starmap...

like i was expecting, we went to a private area on the ebony hawk, but she refused...

does it mean the romance story is over or does it mean that it will simply happen a little later (maybe next star map?)...

anyone can answer?

I think that I got the 'set our feelings aside line" too, but later got her to kiss me.

Basically, I think you have to use the line thats something like this: "[persuade] Can't you give in to your feelings just this once?"

If you've passed that line then your finished.

I might be wrong though.

damn, i'm pretty sure i saw that line but didn't choose it.

i haven't played for a couple of days.

i'll tell you at my next starmap or at the end of the game how it ended..

btw is there a video of this sceen soemwhere? in the other post, someone mentionned it i think

Ok this is what I did, minor spoilers below.


When your in the room with Bastilla, follow these steps.

She will try to rationalize the relationship as being part of the bond and that it cant be allowed to happen
Chose option 2, "You're rationlizing Bastilla, you just dont want to face the truth!"
After she replies, option 1 "I'm going to stop Malak Bastilla, but I want to do it with you at my side"
Next reply, option 2, "You dont always have to be strong, Bastilla, give in just this once"
She'll get confused, trying to come up with a reason.
The next options, out of 2, take ur pick. Doesnt really matter, you'll get the kiss.

After she runs out, dont talk to her about it. Thats as far as I am right now, on my 4th starmap on Korriban right now.

does anyone know if you can have romance if u play DS but you make sure that Bastila and her mom go along?

What happened with me was I was dark side and you know she starts talking and she's like I find your passion attractive and we keep talking I pretty much just kept on responding with stuff about my charm and things like that and after a while I said one last thing and she said just shut up and kiss me and then the screen went black and it came back and she was like we shouldn't of done that and says that we must not be seen together and we should keep our feelings hidden until after the mission. I'm not sure if you'll get it later though. Just play it through and keep on trying to talk to her about it and you might get to kiss her. But I dont know for sure.

out of nowhere, i jsut checked my list of completed quest...
i go to bastilla and it says: there is nothing to talk about, at least for the moment... (something like that)...

anyone had that before was still was able to talk to her?

if i talk to her in the ebon hawk, my only options are: vision, do u know anything about this place or nothing....

is the romance on suspence? or is it over?

can i presume from the quest log that maybe later i will be able to talk to her some more?

btw, i havent finished another starmap since the whol romantic incident... im almost done with my 4th, on Manaan...

maybe after 4, something will happen

Ok ya she always did that to me about you just get the options about do you know anything about this planet, nothing more for now, and just the usuals, but I don't know if you'll be able to get it later on or not. I just played it yesterday and I talked to her in private and I was light side and she ended up kissing me, but if you ever do get the chance follow dans script sequence and you'll get the kiss.

It's true that after the kiss you can't talk to her anymore. But the romance isn't over, well at least not totally. When you fight her at the Star Forge, you must convince her to return to the light side. She will say something about that you shouldn't trust her and that she could strike you with her lightsaber. Then tell her that you trust her 'cause you love her. After that, even there isn't any kiss again, she'll call you "My love."

I am sure it must be fantastic !!!

I don't believe this kiss has been designed, and whatever it would have been, I don't think it would be so great : juste remember how uggly they made your NPC shake Master Zhaar's hand while he welcomes you in the order, regarding this, I prefer not seeing any kiss.

Dont forget the pelvic thrust cheer after you win a swoop race. Or the dancing with the girl on taris. Thats pretty disgraceful too

lol! What about the "smile" of Carth after destroying the star forge on LS playing ???? Sooooo awful
