Does anyone know how to make your hand-to-hand more powerful? I'd like to know if strength increases the amount of damage u do on handtohand and by how much.

Strength increases damage all right, altogether no that much. The related attribute is the Seead, so it is what really counts. Also good Agility is worth to have - just to avoid to be hit.
BTW, H2H is one of the skills what develop really fast. If it's one of your min./maj. skills, killing a Dremora or later Dremora Lord or Golden Saint makes a level (i.e. 10 or more levels in the skill).

This is one of my favorite combat styles in the game and it is quite devastating against superior enemies. I taken on as many as three opponents at once with it - but that's a bit of a challenge. Early in the game its great for killing the Dark Brotherhood assassins, dremora lords, etc.

Anyway, there are three different punches you can throw, but unfortunately I've never been able to tell which one does the most damage. The right jab is the most common punch so it would equate to a chopping blow with a sword for example. The left hook equates to a slashing cut (you need to move sideways when you throw it). And then there is another punch that is thrown when you are moving forward or back as when you thrust with a spear. They may all be equal in damage for all I know but then again the damage may vary as it does with other weapons. Also enchanted gauntlets, like the horny fists, should help do more damage. Speed is the governing attribute but you also want to hit with a high percentage of success so high agility should also help. Of course having 100 or more points in HTH style is the most important. Try various enchantments on gauntlets to see what happens. Don't know if its possible but you might try the daedric gauntlets and put some drain or damage fatigue spell on them (you don't do any damage to health in HTH until all your opponents fatigue has been drained - that's why they collapse and thats when the damage begins). Other ideas would be cast on strike destroy armor (its really hard to beat someone to death who's wearing ebony armor). Also any CE enchantments that fortify speed, strength and agility should be very helpful.

"Cast on strike" is not going to work on gauntlets, tested. Althogh you may put such enchantment on, it's going never work (just as in case of bow or ring).

it doesnt matter what type of armor the enemy is wearing thats why h2h is so good and why you can pwn guards so early in the game
