I read a post where somebody got it for being the GrandMaster of the Morag Tong... I am the GM but i dont have it.... Also, what does it do?

it is too late for you my friend, eno hlaalu says something like"i was given this and you might be the new gm blah blah blah heres a dagger"

and you get it from him by doing the sanguine quests


i think its ok and use it with my assassin character

daedric dagger

9-20 chop
9-20 slash
9-20 thrust

absorb health 10-25 pts for 30 sec
blind 10-50% for 30 sec



i went into the cs and changed the max damage to 40 because i felt there arent any really good short blades in morrowind

great, thanks a lot... haha nice 40 damage max that should be very nice

i'd say changing it like that would be unbalancing, considering how fast daggers are

agreed, but i just think its funny.
Afterall, the dagger does have lifesteal thus it is doing a lot of damage if you truly think a bout it

quite, but what short blade weapon do you use when you go up against some BIG enemies and they are all up in my space and im all like: naw. and then they are all like: yeah and so its everlasting unless i make the max 40! so now you understand why i must change it....

I got it not finding the sanguine items more than it was necessary. It may be related to "special tasks", though, and some of them have sanguine relations indeed.

Usual misunderstanding, IMHO. Sure, the Daedtic katana does much more damage than dagger , altogether the Dagger is much faster and so hits more often. In total damage done by dagger per long enough time unit is the same if not greater (if katana miss it miss "more" than daggger).
