HELP! Very silly money/weight bug ç__ç

Hi all,
I'd appreciate any help with this idiotic bug.

When I want to buy something, the price shown on total is X MG but from my budget the detraction is of 2X MG - so everytime I buy stuff I pay the double, I pay for it TWICE!

AND, the same applies to weight, which is really frustrating me and my adventure as I'm forced to keep as little as I can along: things weigh Y lbs but my weight penalty is exactly the DOUBLE of their weight (shields weight 12 lbs, armor 40 lbs and so on...).

What da... heck???

Is it a BUG, or is it normal and I am nagging for nothing?
If it's the former, is there a way I can fix this?
It's really frustrating, especially when I need new equipment.

Any luck with this issue yet? Do you have the patch installed?

My guess is : you're BUGGED !

I've played with or without patches, and never encoutered this thing. Best solution is to backup your savegames and re-install the game, then import your saves. If this doesn't work you might consider exportiing your Chars. with equipment, delete game, re-install and import your Chars anew. They won't get any Xp, but if it works you only loose the "install time" and the time it takes to get back on track.

running through the beginning, Chpt 1, 2 & 3 with a mid-level party takes NO time, IMO.
