Hello lads.
I need some help. I have a Rouge/Fighter/Shadowdancer with Kukri as his favoured weapon. I have just entered Undermountain and things are looking quite good, my character is beginning to prove useful. But there is one problem; I can't find any good kukris, or ANY kukri at all for that matter. I have one which I bought in that store in Waterdeep but thats it! I have Enserric the short sword with me now and allthough that's a good sword and a hilarious figure, it's not a Kukri, and that's exactely what I need. So my question is:
Can you find any good Kukri in the early undermountain or do I have to have patience until I get Tomi and steal his(Asuming he's got one...)?
In case you haven't got it yet: I want to dual-wield these!

I must admit - that I can't recall seeing many of these weapons.
But later on in the game there will be merchants that sell for instance weapons - and my bet is they should have some.
But for a while through a portion of the Undermountain, I think you will be hard pressed to find one.
Don't know if you can use Tomis, but you can check that out in the toolset if you want to be sure. It could be flagged as usable for Tomi only, and I've never used him so I don't even know if he uses that weapontype.

Well I'm hoping that Tomi's got a "Kukri +3" and not a "Tomi's Kukri" or something like that. I don't think that I would want to change things in the game via the toolset, since it's dangeroulsy close to cheating in my meaning.
I just have to make due with Enserric for a time then. Thanks for your help though

I didn't suggest changing the item - just looking at it so you would know if you could use it or not.
Only "cheating" I do myself, is award myself 3000 XP when I skip the prelude in original NwN
(To compensate for the missing 2 free levels one get)
But I do not know what kind of weapon Tomi gets - which was why I suggested looking.

Tomi's kukri (not "Tomi's Kukri") is a +3 kukri.

I had trouble with Enserric the first time i played, simply because my character specialized in the use of a two bladed sword. Talk about letdown.
Rather than deprive myself the often amusing experience by selling the poor bastard, I went into the toolset and passed 'him' into a two-bladed weapon. Once you mirror the stats, the only other catch is to match Enserric the Longswords 'tag'.
Alternately, you can simply progress through into chapter 2 and access to the shops there. There are some khukris around (none off the top of my head), but like nearly all weapons, they are few and far between. Chapter 2 and 3 is where you can settle in to a particular weapon setup without having to constantly purchase new ones.
I got bored fast of the weapon and armor selection/appearance. There are very few 'interesting' weapons (considering I DM'ed for 3 years) and a lot of the armor looks plain gaudy (one look at leather +1 and I nearly gouged my eyes out), so the toolset was the only resort left to making a bland item environment more interesting.
Since then, I've probably engineered over a hundred new weapons and armor that I imported so that my characters had something generally more interesting, or more hybrid friendly. Cheating done in healthy moderation (there's a difference between 'fidging' and blatant power-mongering) to keep the game fun.

Thanks for all your help guys! I managed to get me one kick ass Kukri in the south room in the first level in Undermountain though. You know the room with the statues and you have to drag them into place and pull a lever to hold them in place and skeleotn bombers shows up all the time? In the room beyond there's a chest that include a powerful weapon which, neatley, is a weapon that you specialize in. So I got Stormwalker now! Thanks again, lads!
