I saw somewhere how to do it but I cannot recall.
PLS help me.

They level up automatically.
And if they don't (for a few reasons) - you can ask them to level up when talking to them.
You can't control their feat, skills or stat points.
Maybe with a hak or similar, but not in the original game.
