sorry for wasting space but i have this claustraphobic feeling that I'm the only "Member" and everyone else is and "Exalted Member."
I feel like a newb...
What does it mean, the classification? like, do you get upgraded to exalted member or twisted sister or can you just write one down like your location or something?

You can only become an exalted member if you set yourself on fire while chanting the Seven Dwarf's Work Song from Disney's Snow White. You also have to be dancing the lambada on one leg.

Thou must do as Fable doth say, are you willing to chance his wrath with your lack of faith.

The last one to do that ended up, naked tied to the tree with hyenas eating at his entrails.

okay, let me get this straight, i have to sing a song and dance and then you become and almighty "exalted member"...
ummm... how do you go about actually singing the song and dancing? do you type the song? record it? i'm confused... my head hurts... :)

Well, there was more to it at one time, but the Unions got on Fable's and my case, and we had to scrap it. It involved flaming toga's, sandals, and an irritated beaver... This way just seemed like an acceptable compromise :D

Well another option would be for you to sing and dance while somebody takes photos... which you can then post in the photo thread ;) However, do be advised that this is an E-rated forum so take care in what you choose to sing and dance to.. :p

Stop teasing! ;) @Missy: to become an "Exalted member," you need to get to 50 total posts. To become a Twisted Sister, you have to perform certain ritualistic rites not unlike those described by fable and Aegis, though, not being of the cult myself, I am not privy to the specifics.

Peace.

Actually you are a newb...just like me... :)
eventhough my registered date is 10-20-2001....

It all comes down to how much you are willing to cq capable of spam(ming). That's the charming thing about SYM. Ask my any q. about BG and I might be considered quite the expert. Ask me a Q. about Babylonian gods or Scayde's leather whips and I'm lost. It makes a good read though.... :D

Okay. So it isn't the lambada Hwesta Elf has to dance.

It's only the polka. While wearing plaid.

Sheesh. Spoilsport. :p ;)

I'd just like to add something. Yes, you are the only 'Member.' Sorry, but us Exalted can't be seen posting too many times to.. you people...

I actually view a low post count as a positive thing. Anyone who manages to maintain less than a thousand posts over the period of a year or more, clearly has far more self-restraint than us "exalted" types.... :D

We do tend to get carried away, don't we? :D

Welcome to the forums, @Hwesta Elf. Don't worry about your post count--it will increase with time, and you'll become "exalted" long before your hair greys and your knees become the subject of hidden laughter by neighborhood children. ;)

Yes, Moonbiter's introduction ceremony to SYM was a memerable one.
I'll never forget the sight of Moonbiter in the moonlight, covered in pasta, holding a picture of a Weasel above his head.

That wasn't a picture!

.... and the dachshund...

.... and the peanut butter...
