This is kind of a slilly question. We bought a beer at the Brew
house. We gave it to Elmo so he can drink it but it won't use the item. Does anyone know the purpose of this or there is no real need to even having this item?

to my understanding you cannot consume the beer or the meat chunks and therefore they are usless

And I'll second that reply.

I read a post somewhere about somone consuming the beer, but in my game, with the Atari and Co8 patches, beer and meat is useless.

Beer Chuging

Iunno if use item works but thats besides my point. I did read on a website saying everytime you mage misses a melee attack chug a beer.Or everytime you get triped by a bugbear drink a beer. Its kind of interesting hehe... But i dont think you can actually use a beer.

Funny idea.

You know, I have a slightly comical idea. If you take Elmo, and you don't want him to fill his inventory with a lot of stuff you want, why not fill his inventory with tankards of ale (or beer) and chunks of meat? That way you can see give him all the drinks he wants and more, and his looting will decrease.

Yeah but Elmo doesnt loot like the other Npcs. The only thing Elmo takes is money. Still even if you use those items in there inventories they can still sell them and it would be a pain to take them in and out everytime you go barter.
