Favorite NPC's

Of all of Vvardenfell (haven't been to that other pc expansion place), what are your favorite NPC's? I'm thinking in terms of career, outlook on life, place of residence, quests they give you, stuff like that. There are so many to choose from, and there are definitely some I like more than others...

I think one of my favorites is Jobasha, the Kjahit running the rare book store in Vivec. He just has a mellow demeanor, is well dressed, and I've always thought of him as a good guy trying to make as good of a living as he can in a rough society. He's obviously doing pretty well for himself too, considering the selection in his store & the fact that he needs a guard for security! :)

Also, I like Gentleman Jim Stacy. He's obviously a man with a great reputation, yet he tries to keep a low profile. The stuff he does for the poor & needy gives him a robin hood-type quality, I think...

PS: The mudcrab deserves an honorable mention. That creature has to have a crazy story behind him/her/it! Any books that talk about a thirsty, rich mudcrab?

They all seem pretty similar to me. Since my character is a khajit, the khajit are nicer to me, and the few stand out. the alchemist in balmoraa, sugar lips, etc.

Edwina's okay, but I can't say why.

Oh (spoiler?) the guy who wanted a book of poetry was pretty cool. (down stairs in the rat in the pot....)

I think the guy in the Fighters Guild in Ald-Ruhn is pretty nice, his name is Percius Mercius. He always gives you some background information on the quest your doing for the fighters guild. I think he is an honest man.

My favourite NPC is Eno, the suicide cultist from Mournhold, the fact that manages to predict the fall of the tribunal, So what does he do about it? makes people commmit suicide. the guys a legend.

other than that the Daedra that you occasionally can see wandering about that you can converse with like the one in the puzzle canal. theyre cool

Just to let you know, i faded out of existence and now i'm back :D ! anyway, even though i'm a wood elf, the male characters aren't that cute (pfft! and i thought they might look a tad bit like Legolas!) and the female NDCs have an annoyingly high/squeaky voice so I really like Ajira the Khajit in the bottom floor of the mages guild in balmora. Shes really nice. :D

For some reason I like the Mages Guild Guide in Balmora. I can't even remember her name. Starts with an M or something. Don't ask me why I like her... She's just cool and she's nice. I think she was the first nice person to me when I was playing my first character. Ranis Athrys (however you spell it) rocks too. Though she's a little obsessed with me... (I think she needs a boyfriend.) There's a few others too. Like Fargoth, even though he's gay and needs a boyfriend too, and Lord Draren or whoever (I hate all the names in this game) who's at the top of Tel Fyr. (I think?) Anyways, yeah... And the warden who thinks he's better than me... I like him, but I'll show him who's stronger...

Anyways, I like dark, intelligent, morbid, respectable dark elves. Anyone I come across who fits that description is awesome in my book. :p

Agree totally, and I LOVE his robe. I was playing a wizard (in signiture) and I discarded the robe of Drake's pride (and with it probably about 45 Magicka points) just for his robe. Much as I think he's an incredible character, really cool in that robe, I wanted it. Its a shame its common and can't be enchanted. You must wait until Almalexia tells you she will send her High Ordinators to take care of him before you kill him, or she gets mad.

Its a shame there aren't more white robes in the game, which brings me nicely to my question. Is there a plugin for white robes?

Gaenor?

The guy in outside the temple who hits you up for money in Mournhold....
Very funny. Great plot line.

You LIKE that guy!? After he cursed me & ran away with more than 11,000 of my gold I got pissed off! I really hope I'll bump into him at a later quest, and that the money was used for something good. Once he asked for a million I lost it... :)

The candyman in Solstheim is funny too...

OK i like trebonius... the way his mind works is very cool. ' i want a soemthing to do' 'LEARN TO TALK TO STILT RIDERS, then we can keep tabs on everyone who rides them!' i mean who cant love a mind that works like that... OK thats where that moron gaenor was from... he comees up to me and tells him i mistreat him and slaughters me... so he was that jerkoff who hit me up for 10 grand... i thought i would get some kinda prize... ok i agree, lord fyr is very cool, and then i would have to say vivic. yes hes kinda a self satisfied person, but hes a god so does he not deserve to be?

You know, I kind of like Caius. His personality is well developed and I find his slightly gruff cynicism both endearing and entertaining :D

the payoff was a full suit of ebony armor, which if you are willing to take the time to sell is great, the only problem was that at level 24 when i first encountered the soandso, he ripped me apart, i mean for petes sake amlexia was an easier kill than him! i died so many times fighting him.... i would blow all my savings on potions and weapons and get killed over and over.... SPOILER for anyone who hasnt done tribunal yet. i like the dwarven ghost, who turns your sword on fire... all those dwemer books you find down there, do they do anythign?

I love Duma Gro-lag, the orcish sculptor in Ghorak Manor, Caldera. He is so cute and stupid, I just love it. "I got book. It got lots of good words and pictures and stuff." Hee hee he's just like cookie monster! I just wanna give him a big squeeze, except... that he's just... you know, part of a game...

I cant find the stupid mudcrab... does it even have a personality? ok a thought crossed my mind. the Daedra, they are so frikin awesome! have you read that one book... somehitng where the describe how scamps have no thoughts and cant fear... how do mortals not despair? and thse daedra that you have to fight for some of the pilgrimage quests... i want to go to oblivion... I wish i could get morrowind in actual size, a real world, and go to the land of the akvari and skyrm and Cyrodil... ahh the world they taunt you with in this game is so cool... so tantalizing, and they only give you this one corner to play in. grr
