I think it would be so awesome. It makes me sad to think that some fellow gamers wouldn't enjoy it. My friends and I always wanna play it together, but instead we have to sit there and watch each other play... It's not as socially fun.

People would be going after the same items and quests, it wouldn't be evened out. Unless of course you're talking about them making a new world, in which case if you want to play a good online game like that, Everquest or Ultima Online is what you should play.

I think I've already stated my views on the said subject elsewhere in this forum... But no, categorically, absolutely not.

MMORPGs do not have the same depth or artistic expression often shown in single player RPGs... I honestly think something is really lost. Neverwinter Nights is a great example of this, it was initially set up to be an online experience of the P&P D&D gaming world. However... the game failed miserably in terms of character development, challenge and overall draw. Almost everyone I know was very disappointed with NWN....

With most MMPORGs you have all kinds of veteran players literally waiting around to pounce on newcomers simply for the experience points and because they achieve some sort of sadistic pleasure from the act.... This really is not my idea of fun...

If you want a truly enjoyable online gaming experience, my suggestion is to pick up a copy of Baldur's Gate Two. A great single player game that is a blast with a group of friends at the multiplayer level. Okay... it does not have the open-endedness of Morrowind, and there is a very definite storyline and plot, but it is a really good game, and you can specifically choose whom you play with.

A MMORPG in the TES-Universe would be interesting. But "Morrowind" as a MMORPG? No, thanks....
