Sorry for the newbie questions but again, it's been a long time since i've played and i've forgotten much of the simple things about the game. Can a fighter/cleric (dualed from fighter to cleric) use swords and other fighter weapons? (once the cleric is past the fighter lvl, of course). Or is the cleric stuck with cleric-only weapons? Also what is the situation with spellcasting and armor for the same guy, like are there any limitations on armor you can wear and how it affects you etc. I used to know all this stuff but it's been a long time, and i only used to play sorcs and monks anyway :)

oh yeah and what stronghold can he do?

This is why many people choose to multi class a cleric ranger instead. They still get two proficiency slots and have the added bonus of the racial enemy. Mages can wear armor if dual or multi classes, but cannot cast spells while wearing it. There are exeptions though (elven chain, bladesinger chain). One reason some choose to dual class a kensai into a mage, since armor is not used in either case.
