ok it says it does 1d20 and an aditional 1d10 so i worked hard getting my monk to maximum level but now it only does about 10-15 damage every attack. hell my paladin at level one with the holy avenger does 2 times the damage when he is only level 3. they have the same strength too

Can some one help me with good starting stats for a monk?

i don't iunderstand there hole Wisdom AC thingy....

wisdom to AC acts exactly like Dexterity to AC. but u cannot get a wisdom bonus if u wear shields or armor.

so a with 16 wis and 16 dex with no equipment will have 16 AC instead of 13.

i recomend having a more powerfull race for your monk, like a tiefling aasimar or drow. u get a bonus to dex with tiefling and you can put ur charisma all the way down so over all u get 6 extra skill points.

Using gnome monk?
Small races deal less damage as monk, check small monk damage and speed:

Monks are...okay in IWD2, due to the lack of choice in equipment.
