How do you equip Jaheira?

Assuming you use her throughout SoA (as I do), how do you spend her weapon proficiencies? What weapons do you give her?
I'm thinking about going with Belm, and using Firetooth as a missile weapon/ backup in case I need to fight a creature needing +3 or better to hit.
I would like her to use a shield, but I'd like your input even if you have her use two weapons, or a two-handed weapon.
TIA

Well, it depends...
Jaheira does very well with staves, clubs, darts - sometimes I mostly have her using Staves, others dual wielding clubs or Club/Belm. Shields aren't a bad idea, especially before you get her really effective at dual wield.
None of the Scimitars are really compelling, except Belm as an offhand.

In my current game, she is equipped with Pitchwife +5 (club) and Belm ~~ great speed and damage!
You might want to look at the thread a page or so down discussing Jaheira's weapon choices

I saw it, Kait, but I find "Item upgrade mods" exremely cheesy.

In which case Gnasher is fantastic for spell disrupting, Spear of Withering or Impaler for serious damage and, of course, the Staff of the Ram.

Hmm.. although I have a few spears I and have a club in reserve (for golems and undead), Jaheira's main weapon in my case is the scimitar.. combined with a nice shield she has by far the best AC of the group atm (-12). Are there any really powerful scimitars, btw (can't recall what scimitar she is using.. it must be at least +2)?
-edit- It's a +3 scimitar called 'Water's Edge', by the way. No idea where I did get it.
