question for xandax

Dude. I jumped from original NWN to HotU (if you remember, I had a previous post on this issue). Anyhoo, Ive completed HotU, and have my fighter at I think level 24-25.
I am probably the only person that has played this series in reverse. LOL
Anyhoo, if I get SoU now, will it be a walk in the park, or is it designed to recognize character level, and adjust the game accordingly seeing how Im actually going backward in the series. Hmm....

It will be a walk in the park.

The modules are made for a new character, from level 1 and upwards.
So even though the game does recognize your level (you get low low exp for instance ;) ), it can't spawn in much thougher monsters then the spawnpoints that have been placed in the game/module development.

I would always recommend that if it is the first time one is going to play through SoU, that they start with a new character, otherwise - they might miss to much of the game, because there is no "peril".
But of couse - it all comes down to how one self likes to play.

I was afraid of that. lol. *tosses around idea of even buying SoU* hmm....
