I read a list over ingredients and their abilities on an internet site. Well, I found out only Ghoul Heart fortifies attack. Is it not possible to make potions fortifying attack then?

Well if there is only one Ingredient that has fortify attack, I think it would be a little difficult to make one seeing as you USUALLY have to have two. However I've seen sometimes that you can make a restore health potion using Fortify Health and then Fortify Fatigue items... Might wanna boost up a few points in alchemy (just get the cat-thing in Balmora's mages guild to get it up to like 40 or so) and then try so you dont waste the ghoul heart.

There's a glitch that would make it possible, but it may take a while for you to get. If you've ever been making potions and you've noticed you have 9 Deadra hearts and then 1 Deadra heart seperatly, thats the bug. Sometimes alchemic ingrediants become seperate from others that you may have. I've experianced this with Deadra hearts, perals, diamonds and crucially for you, ghoul hearts. Be aware however that when making this potion because your two ingrediants are exactly the same and so EVER EFFECT WILL BE PRODUCED. Not many items have only positive effects so you may have to accept a negative one. I actually think that ghoul hearts are just positive, but I may be wrong.

Good luck, and if you have the PC version it may be worth changing some stuff in there so another rare ingrediant has fortify attack. Just a thought.

To eliminate all the bad effects of Alchemy, simply obtain all the pieces you can use with it (Calcinator, Alimbec, etc.)

I have a full Grand Masters set, intelligence 100 fortified with a ring I made myself, Drake's Pride and Necromancers amulet to 145, and alchemy at about 80 and I still get negative effects, there is one piece that affects negative effects, but it just decreases them, not removes them entirely, perhaps the secret masters set does, I dunno. Does it even exist?

Those items didn't become seperated, in fact they are a bit unique. You probably got them inside daedric shrines where they were placed in front of the god's statue. When you took them they caused a dremora lord to spawn. That's what makes them different. Yes, you can take one of these special items and combine it with the same kind of ingredient to make a potion that has ALL the effects (good and bad) of that item. Kind of neat really. Also if you handle these special offering items enough (picking them up and putting them down again) you run the risk of conjuring up another dremora lord (now that may be a bug but its happened to me a couple of times).

It all becomes clear. Thank you very much. I'll go and hunt down some shrines at once. I did wonder about those. Thanks again.
