How to dispel Illusions in WH?

In Windspear Hills, when you are attacked by a band of monsters that turn out to be Radiant Heart Knights. I've heard many accounts of people breaking through the illusion to find out that one of them is actually a friend of Keldorn's, but I've tried just about every spell in the book to break the illusion but nothing seems to work.
I've tried Purge Invis, Detect Illusion, Detect Invis, and Truesight. None of them has netted any result.

I believe Keldorn will only comment that one of them was Ajantis
after bashing them up.

If you have either Keldorn or Anomen in the party, they will say it after you killed the monsters(paladins) - but sometimes Garen appear too quickly and the dialogue doesn't happen.

Realize this thread was old BUT .....
I did a search and found this thread which asks a question that I have been scratching my head over. Has someone found a way to dispel the illusion that has been cast on these knights? I knew something was wrong the first time I arrived but my truesight and detect illusion spells didn't work. I was forced to kill them. Left a bad taste in my mouth. I reset and tried times using several different spells and spell combos, including dispel magic, invis purge, and some other things I can't remember, in addition to truesight and detect illusion. My party had at the time: my paladin, jaheira, minsc, aerie, anomen, and yoshimo. Couldn't find anything that worked. Has anyone?

It's because dispelling these particular illusions would screw up the quest, storywise.

Possible spoilers
Think of it this way- the illusions are the work of a large Dragon, not mere-mortal magic.

Appreciate the help everyone. Guess I will just have to bite the bullet and go back and do it. I've been doing some of the other quests until I could figure it. Bit of a bummer since I have a paladin and we have already helped the Radiant heart plus getting Anomen knighted. Sigh, Oh Well!!
Thanks Cuchulain, the search function works quite well I discovered. With 555 pages of threads I figured "somebody" had to have run into this and asked this question before. Hate to ask a question that has already been asked and just add clutter. Was surprised it was 4 years ago though
