i notice now, and im not sure what does it, that the shapeshifter cast his spell and it makes an item instead of shapeshifting.

u can make a sorcerer, use SK to give him the use any item ability, then have a shapeshifter give him the paw.

now u got an uber spellcasting greater werewolf with like -17 AC!

Its the shapeshifter rebalancing component of Ease of Use by Wes. For extra cheese try requipping the paw multiple times for a healing side effect caused by the constitution change. You can do this while the game is paused too.
