Question: what does fortify attack really do???

something always bothered me...
what exactly does foritify attack do???
is it better than fortify strength, if you use long blade, or speed if you use shortsword???
what bonuses does it give you???

Fortify Attack I'm sure just gives you a better chance to hit. If you want to do more damage you need to Fortify Strength. Fortifying Attack with a specific weapon (like Fortify Longblade) will give you a better chance to hit with that weapon. Fortify Attack in general should be all forms of weapons.

yes fortify attack does give you a better chance to hit, so you were right bloodthroe.

its the reverse of fortify attack...
less chance to be hit...i think...that's what it said in the elder scroll board..
