Does anyone know how Sanctuary works? I know it makes it so you get hit less, but by what degree? I'm often a dunmer and his special power is to cast Sanctuary 50 points for 60 seconds, but he still gets hit a lot after I cast it.

So I'm asking does 50 points of Sanct equal to 50% getting hit less? If you are born under the sign of the theif, you get 10 Sanct CE. Does this mean you get hit 10% less? and so on...

I beleive so. At least that's what I've read on a couple sites here and there. I don't use magic much myself, but it sounds percentage based.

Try enchanting a ring with 100 to 100 Sanctuary cast when used for like 20 seconds or whatever, then piss someone off and let them hit you. Then we'll be absolutely sure.

with 100% sanctuary you cant be hit by melee attacks, in one of my games i enchanted every piece of my armor with sanctuary CE until it got to 100% total, i couldnt be hit... it was the cheapest thing ive ever done HAHAHAHAH

Ok that sounds like an answer, but I didn't want to take the time to enchant something with the spell and thought I'd be easier to ask. However if you are born under the sign of the thief you need only to enchant 90 points.

I compliment your lack of get-up-and-go

Well thnx. I figure why play out every question I have in the game when I can go to a forum about the game and ask the question there. Me smart, huh?
