You should find/receive an appropriate token for that droid. Each is intended for a cannister, next to the droid generator, and each bears a letter from A to F (depending upon which generator made the droid). Drop the token in the cannister. When you reach a certain number (tell me if you want that depth of a spoiler), the generator fail.

If you have enough computer spikes you can also slice the computer terminals at each droid generator and overload it - or even get it to create droids to help you.

I also believe that it is possible to simply cut open the door blocking the elevator.

Yes, that's possible, anyway it's hard to break or you must have a big security skill

Hard to break? I don't recall it taking too long to Bash the door in. But then again, I am usually swimming in computer spikes by the endgame anyway so I usually just use the terminal.

Simplist way is to use force push (if you hve it) to buy you time, and then bash down the doors. Assuming you have strong melee damage, shouldn't take long.

Or you could do it the plot oriented way

I shouldn't be that hard. Its got damage reduction around 10/-. With around 30 health.

Kept one of 'em around, myself, just for such occasions. The droid explosions were neat. One of the best things in the game. :D

Hmm, I used Destroy Droid for most droids as it's quite powerfull and it's the closest my lightside charachter can get to force lightning without taking a serious chunk of force points but to each his own :)
When Evil beckons what will you do?

Will you run and hide?

Or will you answer the call and revel in it's power. It will set you free, to do what you want....when you want. It will unleash you, let you become anything you desire and gain power over those weaker than you.

But will you care about their plight, their screams and cries for mercy? No, for doing so would would make you as weak as them and there are always others willing to take your place from you...
