Corprus disease (probably a spoiler)

In the fourth or fifth mission for Caisus Casades, you have to destroy a sixth house shrine located in caverns north of Gnaar Mok. As most people reading this know, as you kill Dagoth Gares he places a curse on you, giving you corprus. After reporting back to Caisus, he tells you to go to Tel Fyr to talk to the guy in Daedric armour to get rid of corprus, which is where my problem lies.
About a month before i actually did this quest, my friend told me there's alot of unsupervised and valuable goodies in Tel Fyr, and sure enough, there were. However, while raiding the Corprusarium of stuff like artifacts, I killed several inmates and seeing how the warden wasn't angry, I assumed that all was well. But after I saved, came back to cure corprus and talked to the guy, he said "You have killed inmates of the Corprusarium, you can live with your problems" and wouldn't talk to me. Is there any way to regain this dyke's trust or make him notice that corprus are mindless deformed zombies? or am I going to have to start a new profile?
