Imperial Legion Quest *Spoiler-ish*

Guys i've been having this little... hickup. You know at the begining of the Imperial Legion quest? When what's his name in Gnisis asks you to verify about the Talos Cult?
Well, I talked to the solider, got the key. And then when I go down to the storeroom to click on the trap door, it won't open. And it displays the same message you get when you don't have the key.
"The door is locked from the inside, and won't open without the proper key" Or some such rubbish.
Can anyone help me? tell me what i'm doing wrong, or atleast gimme the Consol comand so I can teleport inside?
