Just a question. What is the current character you're using, what level?

This is a bit odd question to answer... I mean, someone may have just left the first dungeon, and others may be nearly in the end of the game. I always use the party of 6 to go through the game, but there are plenty of people who did/are doing solo.

Could you be more specific?

What class is your main character that you are currently using? What level have they reached so far?

Well, let's see: she's a sorc, level 12. This is my fifth run-through the game, my second through ToB. I've had to set things aside for a few other games, however.

This is my first run through BG2, and I'd say I'm about halfway - 2/3 through the game.My main PC is a swashbuckler, lvl 19. I also run a 2nd pc, paladin-cavalier lvl 15.

this is like my 10th run though and third runthough though tob. level 15/15 mage/clerc is owning all the secondary chapter 2 quests in just 40 days, about to head off to owz the vamps with my clercs

I'am soloing a fighter/mage/thief 13/13/15 i think.
I've finished all quests in Akhata.
Those within the City Hall
+ Unseeing Eyes
+ Astral Prison
+ Kangaxx

Not done yet:
All outdoor quests
+ Planar Sphere
+ (Shandalar) Rune quest

I'am pretty happy now with my equipment, you have to do thing in order.
Speed boots, Celestial Fury/Daystar/Disruption+Dakkon's blade, Sewer cloak, Robe of Vecna, bracer AC3, ring of Gaxx (i've dropped simple ring of regen. last night), still helm of Baldurian, belt str 19, ring +2.

Next trip: De Arnise dungeon and FOA and i'll probably drop Dakkon's blade.
That's give an idea of progression.

Although my favorite is cleric/ranger,
my char. is multiclass mage/cleric 12/12 just now.
In party : Jaheira (11/13), Jan (11/13), Nalia (13/4), Sir Anomen (15/7), Keldorn (12). Have rescued Garen's Child, Firekraag still lives, though. Cleared the Keep. Slavers, fallen paladins, all graveyard surface quests done, acorns brought, minor Umar Hills' quests done, Viconia saved. Dermin's dead, Elminster have appeared. No current NPC quests left.
One cheat, though: Keldorn's batard sword's + traded for axe (Azuredge, you know...).

Archmage Invoker level 25, second time through SoA and ToB im now in ToB but hey you asked what class i use.
Invokers are one of the best specialised magi schools as whoever uses dire charm anyways (damn enchantment magics i would crush them all) anyway my mage now is extremely buffed.

Barbarian level 11, dualed to thief currently level 32. getting ready to put the smackdown on abazigal for the first time

i am also currently in TOB. My PC is 18th level fighter/21st level thief multiclass. He is a half orc and his stats are 22/18/21 because of stat bonuses in hell etc. (no lum yet ) He is very fun to play. I stole and hoarded every stoneskin, blur, mirror image, prot from magic weapon etc scroll in the whole game and have brought them to TOB where my PC now "uses any item" on them. Very fun. He dual wields celestial fury and flail of ages, except when he wants to use carsomyr.

Anyway my current character is a lvl 11 bererker, the plan is to dual to a druid at lvl 13.

btw does anyone know if i can use the rage ability when shapechanged?

That is a cool albeit illegal class!
I am using a plain Barbarian. Just started so I am only level 9 but already I am mighty.
I have a question. If a wizardslayer gets charmed and shoots at your party members, does the spell failure apply and is it permanent?

Can't seem to kill that Sphere demon

Berserker to 12, then dualed to a mage. I'm at 15 as a mage now, just spanked the red dragon. Gonna do twisted rune, kangaaxx, unseeing eye, planar sphere and WK before I head off to spell hold. Incase you're wondering, I'm dual wielding axes

My Halfling/orc barbarian lvl 8 duel weilding Morning stars He DOES NOT under any sircumstaces use any other weapon(except flail)

A Human Fighter/Thief. I played thru BG I with this character, he was a fighter then, level 7 or 8, then I dualclassed him to a thief since I'd heard of the lack of good thieves in the game, now he's like fighter lv7 and thief lv12, but I'm not sure.

My other is an Elven Archer, with the right gear they can do some really heavy damage.
Imagane(?) ToB, Archer with a kickass bow, special abilities like GW or such... Like 80 damagepoints per arrow.....
