INT cheese?

after trying (and failing) to find a way to STR cheese (short of letting shadow fiends rip you to pieces), i'm wondering whether there is a possible INT cheese.
shapechange(mindflayer) - hit until INT reaches 1-4 - potion of genius - hit again - potion wears off - stat wraps round to 25?

Haven't tried it though, just give it a shot and see what happends!

the point to the cheese is that the game doesnt account for minus stat scores, so wraps around to 25. i got the idea looking at userunfriendly's cheese guide, where he beats his PC with the ugly stick til he gets 25 char

The machine of Lum the Mad allows for dex and int cheese, IIRC.

Hmm...
The wraparound technique probably works, but wouldn't it just be easier to use Shadowkeeper? Or just summon the tomes from BG1 using the CLUA console and get +1s untill you get to 25? It's not like the intent isn't to fiddle the game...

urm...nope...
its been tried, and unlike the stats drain from the machine of lum the mad, or from the rod of terror, its not a perminent stat drain...
it is possible to use the bad effects from the machine of lum the mad to wrap around dex and int to reach 25, but not mindflayer drain...bruce lee has extensively tested it, and there are only 3 stats you can wrap around to reach 25...
