AD&D on MSN

Okay, used to play with a bunch on friends. Most have now gone to University (Australian for "College").

I've been looking for some time now for an MSN-based AD&D group.

I figure with a few people joined to one conversation a very good campaign could be had online. Just have to arrange same time to be online.

Anyone know of one?

I've never done it before but the idea is good.
Perhaps a seach on google will point you in the right direction?

I suggest you get people you know and trust to play with you otherwise cheating is always a probability

I will search Google...

Hammer, you have a point though...

"Oooo ooo ooo I rolled 18 for every one of my stats!!!!!!"...

"Can you believe it, that's never happened before!!!"

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Trick I guess would be to have your DM roll for EVERYTHING!

It's a good idea, not sure if would work for me, at least. But having a few, mature players playing on MSN sounds quite reasonable.

But yeah, the DM would have to roll for everything, unless you absolutely trust the players. You should do point buy (instead of rolling) for PC stats, as I'm sure a player would be quite disappointed if you rolled a couple of 3s for him. Hehe.

But for during the game, you should roll the dice. I've just realized ONE advantage that playing on the internet has over IRL. You can make those secret rolls/checks without anyone getting suspicious. :D At least in many of my adventures, whenever I would pick up the dice and roll in the middle of a dungeon crawl, the players would immediately protest 'I wasn't at the front, the fighter was', 'no, I was guarding the rear, the thief was at the front', 'no, I'm hiding in the shadows'. Yeah, they cringed whenever I picked up the dice and didn't say what I was rolling for....uahahaha!....-ahem-

I'd play on the MSN though, if you still need players. Though I'd have to commence next month...rather busy lately.
