*spoiler*question about the last dwarf

if you havent gotten to tel fyr yet, this could spoil somehting fir you... Ok, I spoke with Yagrum Bates, dwemer stuff is awesome and more than anyhting else in this game I want to follow up any dwarf leads, and i exhausted all his conversation topics, and he told me if i come across someone I could bring him, the last dwarf, up. I have gone to all the dwemer buffs I have come across, the woman in the ald'rhun mages guild, Hasphat in the balmora fighters guild, the imperial guy excavating the dwemer ruins, and vivic didnt have anythign to say on the subject either. I have searched high and low, I have beaten bloodmoon and tribunal and it just bugs the crap out of me, that and the guy in Bodir grove who never gets old and his mead hall of the gods, cant find that either... so if you could clue me in on where to find these elusive things that would be great. oh and if it makes any difference i have the xbox version, i have heard they arent quite the same. Thanks.

When he says that you can mention him to other people, you actually can't. As for the Solsthiem quest you're talking about, you should have a look at the unofficial elder scrolls pages. You can find it from the morrowind yellow pages, one of the pinned threads in this forum.

darnit, are you positive? at a few other walkthrough sites I have been to, even gamebanshee itself, mention that there is an oppurtunity for a faction quest... and another thing as an idiot who had only been playing the game for 2 days I joined the retarted house hlallu, on the adivice it was a much easier place to advance in, now with experience with the awesome Telvanni, I want to quit hlallu and join up with them, problem is even if I am expelled the mouths say I cant join, as part of house hlallu... is there any way to get out of a house? or do I have to start over again, and be that much wiser for my past experiences?

ok so i am screwed with the house thing... argh... but again everybody is sure about there being no last dwarf quest? i dont see why they would put it in my journal if there wasnt a purpose...

You can work out what happened to the dwarves, you know the whole mystery of the 'Disappearance of the Dwarves', and he's involved in that, but its a Mages Guild quest.

Trebonius, the guild steward in Vivec. He's the prat with the purple robe wandering around the sort of pit area.

umm.... archmage... I KILLED THAT GUY, he challenged me to a duel when i asked for duties, man alive... so i undid the dwemer trigger? aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

OK so i have loaded that game up and painstakingly regained my glory, trebonius says to talk to edwinna elbert, but she says nothing about teh dissaperance of the dwarves, should i jsut do all of her quests first?

Ok its after you become a wizard in the mages guild, i guess the next step is arch mage and i did a quest and talked to trebonius, forgot about what, maybe advancement? duties, advancement, or himself... but he said somethign like 'i have heard of your lust for power and ambition, ill meet you in teh arena if you arent to scared' i dont remember what... so you kill him then you are archmage of the mages guild... ok i have finished all of edwinnas dumb dwemer quests and i still cant bring up the option of 'last dwarf' or 'dissapearance of the dwemer' and AGAIN i have talked to everyone, and get the same old replies... this is so frustrating... any hints?
