errr the armor... sell the pauldron, get some training, but a ton of restore health potions. something i love doing (but it takes a decent speach craft skill) is taunting the npcs with nice armor, kicking thier butts and selling their stuff. in the fighters training in the arena in vivic, there is a guy clad in full ebony armor, taunt him, take him apart and get his armor if you are into ebony. hes the only guy i really remember, but i think hes also the master trainer for heavy armor or long blade, so you might not want to off him just yet. but there are rich guys with ebony armor everywhere, so if you can taunt then kill them all. o and daedric armor is bettre heavy stuff, just so you know. orvis dren in the dren plantation has almost a full suit of that.

The Dren plantation is north of Vivec and East of Pelegiad, Dren can be hard to kill depending on your level. I'd guess that at level 7, unless the difficulty is quite low or you are a power gamer, he'd be a real challange. Yeah, you'll get attacked by people with large Deadric Claymores if you aren't carefuly, but quaff some Greef, and smack him quickly, grab the loot and peg it with intervention or recall.

Well yeah.. the PCers have the advantage of just adding random **** to their inventory with a few words of console commands.. But since your with me on the Xbox, I'd recommend seeking out Master Trainers, if your eager.
