If you have at least 50% MR(that's all forms of magic not just attack i.e. magic missile) any character class can become acceptable to play(even the beastmaster).
There is a way to get your natural MR(not enhanced my magic items) to be 50%, but I'm not going to tell you. Of course this does NOT involve cheats or editors.

Alright then for all of you that don't like to explore and figure things out for yourself here goes: Have a bejural stone in your main characters inventory and go to the Tethyr forest. You must don something(not a very hard thing to do) and you'll be transported to an area where you fight with another SLAYER!
There is a possible way to do this with the area cheat...however I don't use cheats so I'm unsure how to do it.
After the fight if you have no spell protections on you and no enhancements then you will be rewarded with 50%MR to ALL types of magic.

Ok, so this must be how to get to that mysterious area. You are the first person I have ever seen reporting this...and I read a LOT of boards and walkthroughs in addition to reading all the email sent to Gamebanshee. And all that after being through the game 4 times myself.

Congratulations, and I'm glad you're at least sharing part of how to do it. Saying it's possible with no clue is just frustrating, it's a pretty big game and easy to miss something.

Anyone else been able to duplicate this? I'll try tonight.

Wow! I thought that area was just something that was in the data files but never (like the Haer'Dalis murder subplot) actually implemented. Cool. I've never seen it in any walkthroughs or heard of it before...

I seriously hope this isn't a joke.

Fake. I've played through twice, and there are 3 FAQ/walkthroughs over at GameFAQs. I didn't see it, I had the jewel on me, and none of them mention this.

Looks like somebody wanted some attention.

I'm reserving judgement for them moment, maybe because I want it to be true. However, I'm pretty sure that it would be a Rogue Stone, not a Berjuril.

I have to admit that, 'don something' and it happens some sounds strange to me...I would expect the Rogue stone to activate at a door.

Mythalos, if this is in the Tethiir Forest, why then doesn't it show up when I look at the area using Infinity Explorer? There are only four triggers, one of which spawns a githyanki, and the rest are doors (one to Suldanesselar, one into a cabin, and one into the cave where you can get the Mana Bow.

My verdict? This is a joke. Unless you're thinking of one of those other two areas that open up after you leave the Underdark, then Slayer vs. Slayer fight can never happen unless you cheat.

Where can you get a gith in the forest of tethir? I've been through the whole thing and there was only the wolfwere quest, te mana bow cave and tons of mists and panthers? Help please. Also, is there ANYTHING to do in Small Teeth Pass besides killing ankhegs? If so then thanks.

The Gith can spawn anywhere after descending out of the Underdark with the Silver Blade(like in Waukeen's promenade, happily killing commoners).

i am gonna try this also.

well i didnt get it to work, i had a bejuril and a rogue stone in my main chars inventory (not in gem bags) and i took off all my equipment and put it back on, NOTHING HAPPENED.

So i next ask Is Mythalos jerking us around or have i just done something wrong

Guys, just pay him no mind in the future. Ignore his posts. Likely he'll come back and try again under another name, since people like that thrive on getting attention of any sort. Since the road to achievement is too tough, they'll try faking it.

Consider it a cheap lesson. He offered no proof, he vanished, 3 FAQs didn't mention it, etc. Watch out for people big promises that don't make sense.
