Heart of Winter...Bug???

Hey everyone...i just recently finished iwdII and started iwd (backwards i know..lol but i didnt have a chance to buy the first one till i started the second)...but anyway ive beat iwd and have started the HoW expansion...however, when i try to leave lonelywood and go to the barbarian camp i have no world map! i went back to emmerich and got it updated again, but still no map...its shows up as a strip of the map at the top of my screen and the rest is black..is this a bug or should i just reload my game? i have it minimized right now so that i could come check for a patch or something...thanks
