Wow, a new record, 312 users online at the same time.
The old record was 99!
Anyone an idea why this sudden increase?
Maybe cause that Bioware has a link to Gamebanshee in their poll at the moment or something.

Back to topic

p) we also hit 10,000 members 14 members ago. I didn't think that one little link would send so much attention this way. I hope Buck isn't struggling with bandwidth.

LOL - me to
345 now as I write.
My first thought was that somebody has just launched countless of instances of Internet Explorere and each instance counts as a "guest", but it dosen't seem liked a great number of guest visit with the same IP adress.

maybe about three times as much?or maybe more? I dunno. but now it's like, 436. How the heck can 99 turn into 2 or 3 hundred in less than an hour?

I have no idea, either buck didnt count visitors before, or it's because of the link at the main bioware site.

Currently Active Users: 513 (There are currently 74 members and 439 guests on the boards. )
Most users ever online was 513, Today at 01:37 PM.
Wow. I've been thinking for some time of trying to organize an effort to breat the 99 online limit, but it seems I didn't need to worry!

Dunno - but this looks like a forum bug
A possible explenation could be that the sessions for the site doesn't time out, and therefore people continue to be listed on the active users list, even if they aren't viewing the site anymore.
This could also explain some other fun stuff that is happening at the moment. The site continues to list posts I've read as new posts, eventhough I have closed down the browser and site numerous times.
Otherwise - it seems as if GB have recived a sudden boom of guests

I've noticed this, too, and am now wondering if it is just one of the few bugs the board has had during its migration. Your reasoning makes sense, so I guess we shouldn't be all that excited.

Well - unless Buck resets the "record", then it will stand for a long time

So we can be excited about that
