Does anyone know how many levels per class it takes to earn a new proficiency star?

2 for pure fighters and 3 for the rest

Fighters get one star every three levels.

Thanks. Still a little confused though... is it every 2 or 3 levels for a pure fighter?

1 point every three levels for fighters.
