Does anyone know how to stop the loss of 2 reputation points when you change into the slayer by editing some file? Is it even possible? Or does anyone know where I can find a file that does this? Any help is appreciated.

You can always edit a savegame with Shadowkeeper if it bothers you...

Don't use slayer. :)

To be honest I have never need to use it. If I want to see demon's fight with my enemies then I just cast Gate spell and forget about this matter. :D

You can edit the spells with infinty editor. If i remember correctly there was about a half dousin spells that made up the slayer change.
The slayer is very powerful if you play kensai or swashbuckler... or if you are an assassin and activate poison as the slayer!!

I have an issue with the whole reputation system. For instance, if you change into the slayer as a solo player in the Underdark and kill everything that sees it, how does it lower your rep in town.

Even though Daggerfall was a pathetically bug-ridden game, it had a nice reputation system. There were different reputation bars for nobles, merchants, thieves, and something else. Makes sense.

@Outsider, it remains to be seen whether this reputation system will carry across into their new game, Morrowind.

@Grimreaper, why wouldn't you want to lose 2 reputation points? I personally find games where nothing stands in my way very boring--like Might & Magic VII and VIII. They're just Monty Hauls. You get so much stuff, and it's so easy, that there's no sense of accomplishment when you succeed. The challenge of deciding whether to do something which has drawbacks is a major part of the strategic fun in CRPGs, IMO. :)
