Hi

Can someone tell me why the IWD II program "shuts down" when I'm trying to make characters. When I come to the "appearance" selection part the program shuts down! If I use the "preset parties" the program will shut down after talking to the ship owner on the dock in the prologue.

Is this a known bug?

I haven't installed any patchs yet.

I'm using XP Home edition, 240 Megs memory.

I’ve never heard of it. But since you are starting anew, try the patch first. If this doesn’t work, delete and reinstall. The instillation might be corrupt.
