I have a 8th level mage.
I didn't get any of the item creation feats, I thought they would be useless.

If I create a new mage, 1st level and get the correct feats.
Can I copy spells from the 8th level mage to the 1st level mage?

Would I need to write these as scrolls first?

You would have to make scrolls first, though shouldn't be a problem if your not going to run that other mage anymore.
