I hit the falling guy Tahriel outside Seeyda Neen (sp?) with a targeted slowfall spell and he lived. So I walked up to him and after I saved his LIFE he's like, "I don't want to talk about it." And my only option is goodbye. So did I waste my time or is gonna teach me to jump to hell and back?

LOL! Actually, his response is perfectly in character: he's totally mortified and embarassed by being caught in such a stupid error! You didn't get the results you wanted, but I'm glad Bethsoft used it to stay true to character and offer some mordant humor on human nature.

Not sure why Bethesda has such a problem with UNC, but the Eltonbrand message and the obvious stupidity of "Tarhiel" is rather amusing.

I recall some Tarheel jokes when I went to visit 'em in Maryland for my first interview, a year or so before the release of the original ES1. I believe one of the development team described himself as "a recovering North Carolinian."
