If you where to put all the npc in one room and let them fight everybody vs everybody who would win.

are we talki9ng with or without optimum equipment? with or without spell preparation time?
and where the heck is jaheira in that poll?

Best Weapon
Everyvody starts with the equipment they do when you find them and everybody is lvl 10.

if everyone is level 10 that instantly puts some characters at a disadvantage. for example, Anomen, as a dual class character, has two classes. is his cleric level level 10? in which case he has a big advantage over the others.
talk in terms of exp.

Well, it's imponderable, really
As Thrain said, the dual and multiclass characters haven't really had time to kick in at base joining EXP. I'd think one of the melee types, like Korgan or Minsc would likely do best..

Edwin, he'll kick back while invisible and let the rest fight it out.
No one would miss him untill it's too late.
Personality goes a long way baby.

at low levels Korgan, though i suppose when you get to 20+ one of the wizards, probably Edwin since i dont think anyone could touch them with spell protections up
TROD.

I wanted to put Jaheira because, frankly, she is perfectly capable of kicking ass verbally and physically. But since she wasn't an option I went for the underdog.

Anomen, for similar reasons Rob-him gave.
He just needs to cast Sanctuary, let everybody kill each other, and mop up the leftovers with the Flail of Ages.

no FoA for Ano. i think based only on levels and starting equipment, keldorn is by far the most likely winner here. At laters levels with the best equipment available, it's a different story

Ooops, my bad.
Also, Anomen obviously can't be level 10 in my argument. He'll have to be 8 or 9 as a Cleric to be on par with everybody else.
I still stand by him being the most powerful when you first find him.

Thats right, I love Edwin, hes got a ton of memorized spells and can just go invis like you said, he'd win for sure... no questions asked!

Ptui. Viconia. Obviously. She'll win just by looking into everybody's eyes.

Dalis obviously
Has nice starting equipment (his two swords), has mage spells, and can fight.
Although being lvl 10 means he has a low thaco, Offensive/Defensive Spin makes up for that.

and keldorn's custom armour/sword doesn't give him that advantage?
Posted: Sun Jul 04, 2004 7:45 am
by Sytze
Sure, but Dalis got more spells and his spin abilities.

perhaps......but i still think keldorn would be too strong

Cern, his shapeshifting ability can do wonders at low levels.

Edwin for sure. Invisibility. Summon, summon, summon baby...

methinks either Korgan or Edwin. Korgan is a decent fighter, but since Edwin'll be at lvl 10, he'll have a number of good spells that'll do him good.
