Stringy Pete's Treasure

I've gotten the "boat-getting" quests from the ghost of Stringy Pete, and the first one asks me to dig up his treasure and give it to the Williamson homestead. I dug up a large chest of gold and silver boot buckles, and I went over to the williamson's homestead, but I can't choose a dialogue option to give the treasure to Mollie. Is this a bug? The young man on the grounds doesn't say anything when I talk to him, so he's no help. What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem with the strongbox in blackroot and the inn keeper. Dropping the box and picking it up helped fix the dialogue options so try dropping the treasure, picking it up, and talk to him again.

I found that you have to wait about 30 sec before tallting to her.

Nothing...
Nothing's working, I've tried dropping both the treasure box and the buckles, and picking them back up again, I've gone back to Stringy Pete numerous times, I've switched out the treasure among my party, and I've waited 30 seconds or so - nothing works!

Try doing the other task first and then go back to the homestead. Wait for Mollie to reach the garden be giving the items to her. Did your task log say to take the items to mollie?

Ah... apparently, I finished the second quest without actually accepting any of them. Weird. Anyway, I went back to Stringy Pete, accepted the quest (the acceptance note was buried in dialogue), and it all went well. Thanks all!
