In my 1st party the ring of regeneration did not work on Minsc. I reequipped it several times, rested, etc, but I could never solve the problem. None the 2 regeneration rings ever worked at Minsc. I didn't try the ring of Gaxx, though.

In my new party, the Ribalds ring (haven't found the others yet) does not work on neither Jaheira nor my undead hunter PC. On my PC, it has a healing effect if I keep it on while resting, but there is no regeneration when I play. What the **** is this? Can something be done to fix it?

Maybe one of Kevin Dorner's patches fixes this problem. Check it on his page.

No, unfortunately Kevin Dorner does not have a patch for this, already checked. Any other ideas?

Have you cleared the ...cache\\data contents? I have had some problems when playing again or in parallel, so i clean it *always* i switch the saves or start a new game.
Though this might be more overrides related, haven't you installed patches, rules, new items?

on my game the ring would not work when the character was also wearing field plate +1 produced by the ring of regeneration. Hope it helps.

Thanks for your help, all. I have tested different things and figured out my current regeneration trouble was due to the full plate +2 that you get from the limited wish. Strange!

where do you find the limited wish scroll?

i've had minsk wearing ribald's ring o' regen & the ltd wish field plate w/ no problems... ? must be something else very wierd nonetheless....


and the ltd wish scroll, was from the adventure mart, i think ribald has it but it may be the scroll lady in the back. either way it's there in chap 2.

I've done a lot of scroll shopping, and the only copy of Limited Wish I've seen so far was at the AdventureMart, right up the back.
