My Minsc is currently wearing the Delver's plate mail, ring of 40% fire res., ring of human influence. and some other stuff like cloack of prot. +1, a helmet etc.
As weapons he uses the Daystar and the Flame Tongue (I just did Bodhi's lair)

My party: Me(=paladin, which I always equip best), Minsc, Yoshimo(Archer), Anomem( or something like that), Jaheira, Aerie

Your opinion? (Plz note that i'm at the end of chap 3, but i have done All quests, including Firkraag, excluding Cult of the unseeing eye.)

Other suggestons for other partymembers?

Plz excuse my bad English.

Minsc goes thru 3 phases with me.

1)Longbow & 2 handed sword (whatever, elven courbow & Lilarcor for example).
2)Mace of Disruption & shield or dual wield 2 maces.
3)Give him proficency in axe's if no-one else has, then he can dual wield frostreaver & stonefire.

I think I have the limited wish armour on him at the moment and helmet of charm protection.

It is a bit hard to tell if you don't say what your fighter is wearing. first of all he is not the one that should be wearing the ring of human inf. it is only used for dialog and shopping and should such an even ocurre just put it on. give him red dragon scale armour (if you not are wearing it), flail of ages (I don't believe you use that since you have the big knife +5), ring of fire resistanc (making it 115 or so, immune) boots of speed (first or second pair), Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise (if you don't wanna use them yourself), Dragon Helm (since you are properly using Helmet of Balburian +1 AC), Belt of Inertial Barrier (since he doesn't need strength+he is now very resistance), Drow Piwafwi Cloak (makes him very stealthy Image and it is possible to keep it after leaving underdark Image )
bla bla bla.....it would really be a lot easier if you told what you have.

@Garcia...minsc cannot stealth if you give him red dragon armor...even if he's wearing the piwafi cloak. He should be wearing shadow dragon armor if you want him to steath.

I use the Lilancor(sp?) until I get the vorpal blade. Second weapon slot is for the mace of disruption when fighting undead.
3 slot is a long bow.

Armor is usually the red dragon armor(when available, helm of Balduran, ring of Gaxx.

Hi, I chose lawful good, chaotic good and neutral good party. Main char (Barbarian mine, neutral good named Anton Chekov, the only Russian with dark skin!), Minsc (BOO!!!!), Anomen, Arie (childish but useful), Imoen (story choice, not for profficiency) and Valygar

Made Minsc skilled in halberd. There's one +4 that really hurts. He's -6 in armour and has double protection against fire cause he's always in the front line.
