Romance Questions

when you drop jaheria when there is a possible romance and she says "things wont be the same" or whatever, does that mean the romance is over? what about aerie? can you drop her romance penalty free?

Yes if you drop any of the 3 female romances they end. They can also end if either of the 3 get turned to stone or get Imprisonment cast on them.
I believe the newly released Nalia romance is the same in this regard.
