As i wandered towards dragon's lair i've met 3 greater ww. Even one is too tough for me.
with six chars there was no difficulties, biut now, wahoouu!
I'am soloing mage14/fighter14/thief16 for the moment.
Does anyone have a good tatics vs werewolf regeneration (better than my Gaxx!!!). I cant do enough damage per round by bashing (Celestial Fury+FOA+19 str)

Have to go along the corridor in the shadows...

Did you try setting traps, then use summons to lure them out one at a time(technique required), while yourself hide in shadow/cast invisibility to ready for a mighty backstab?
If you can't kill them, you can always sneak pass that place with invisibility.

Melf's acid arrow is quite good as you can shoot it and it wil do dmg at the same time you fight... Just a thought, I'm not sure :D
You could try cloudkill too, but that would hurt you.
I don't wanna sound annoying, but insect plague would be perfect...

I always just found that a solid bashing does the trick. Ofcourse I never ran into the unkillable one. Improved haste is good and so is Vhailor's helm.

You sound like you're high enough level, try a whirlwind attack or a improved haste assassination. The trick is to do the most damage in one round.

Zhar,
mage14/fighter14/thief16
??

Improved Haste, Invisiblity, Hide Shadows, target ONE Greater Werewolf, Backstab. Mop up with remaining round of attacks (if necessary) THEN Invisiblity (repeat as necessary). Why weren't you already doing this? - Curdis

Oh yes!!! now i can use all these damned potions of invisibility. Normaly as soloing, equipment is very packed, and much of it is in my city chamber.
In fact, i'am quick with the white boots, and toughest foes like Golem, are killed by shadow-hit-run-shadow-hit...

Thx
