In the Temple District, look at the map. One of the buildings is flagged "guarded compound". The building is on the right-hand side of the map, it's a little hard to find the door so just move the mouse around till you see it. Go in there and kill kill kill, then loot loot loot. There's no quest, this area was supposed to be part of a quest but they took out the quest, so it's just a fun battle.

If a katana's not a sword, what is it? It's not a bookmark, it's not a telescope, it's not a motorcycle, it's a sword :D

Probably (one of) the best weapon(s) in the game. Paralizing an oponent for a round is very powerfull.

2 weapons : Flail of the Ages + CF and ...
Dont move, please!

Damn! And here I thought it was a sword all that time (albeit a Japanese one). Thanks for clearing that up! :p ;)

BTW, if it's not a "sword", then what is it?

I thought the compound was to do with Isiea Roennal and his dealings with "slaver lords" its in a letter....(nalia's personnal quest)

and its a sword....a japanese style *Sword* but a sword none the less...a sword by any other name would still slice as sweet.
:p

@Jaker and Xyx. It's a, you know, the 'K' word, it does damage that Lilacor only dreams of being able to do when held loosely one handed by a gnomish bonzai plantation worker and I swore I would never mention the 'K' word again so I haven't and you can't prove a thing nyagh - Curdis

@all, *>places fingers in ears<* La la la la la, I'm not listening, I'm not going to say it...
It's not a bookmark
but has been exquisitly hand crafted to perform extremely well as one if that is what is required.
it's not a telescope
oh yea of little faith! It has been dedicated to the Samuri gods and can be used to see celestial things.
it's not a motorcycle
elven or dwarvish motorcycle?
BTW, if it's not a "sword", then what is it?

The Glaberzu requires a +3 weapon or better to hit, and he hastes himself. So at this point, judging from your situation, the only +3 weapons within your power to obtain are the Flail of Ages, the Lilarcor, or the Blade of Roses (if you've completed the first part of the slavers quest). Alternatively, you can obtain the Cloak of the Sewers, polymorph into a troll to attack with +3, or use spells to summon creatures that hit at +3 like Mordenkainen's Sword.

Those are all relatively easy to obtain even this early in the game.

Ooops forgot about the Frostreaver, if you already have the Flail of Ages you should have that too. Pick up Korgan and give that to him, dead Glabrezu.

in the guarded compound, go up the stairs on the right, as it puts you a better place for the big fight that is going to happen upstairs...

its a tough fight, but i only think that because of the numbers up there.

Actually if you've already completed de'Arnise Keep and killed Tor'Gal without picking up the Frostreaver, then you've lost it forever.

There is a cleansing process of a sort after you've completed the quest, and all items in the chests and on the ground are destroyed. In fact the whole place is switched to a non-hostile flagged area.

As to the fight with Yoshi and gang himself, I personally like to go up the left. Get everyone in one cloudkill and web. But either has it's advantages.

For the Golems, kill them before taking any of the items, that way they only agro one at a time. The only really tough one is the Iron Golem, but if you get him trapped in the doorway, you can pound him down with Lilarcor without his fists or poision cloud ever touching you.
