Fun.. the evil way - spoilers

Just like to share in game evil doing. What's your best evil doing?

I had planned to mess up Anomen's life but went to spellhold early and had to settle for leaving him wearing all stolen gear in an assylum. Not to plan but pretty evil (talk your way out of that one pretty boy).

I'm going to need to have another shot at the druid font=sulphuric acid trick. Anyone else done Firkraag the evil way? The human flesh armour is barely worth the trouble but I did have Jan with Alduan as his most powerful vanquished foe & the double/double drow double cross for the eggs is worth the trouble.

Some observations I have not seen mentioned here. Neb's head bears a startling resemblance to Daniel Walker the Bioware employee the game is dedicated to! A very strange tribute in my opinion.

The game definitely changes NPC exps and monster numbers/types depending on party level. You may notice messages that say things like 'Yoshimo gains special ability - set snares (etc)' just after joining dialogues. I know Yoshimo, Korgan, and Cernd all alter 'joining' exps to match the party levels, anyone else noticed this. In the Umar Hills when I did it first I faced bone golems and skeleton warriors as a high level party (did spellhold early to get the good gear) I faced greater mummies and liches (twice) made the dragon and shade lord look like pansies. In the windspear hills Adamanite Golems count 'em three! every where there were stone golems they had an adamanite buddy (I used this to make most powerful foe vanquished Adamanite golem for the spell casters). Rambling but having good evil fun - Curdis

yeah i think the game does change the enemies depending on your levels. but lets get one thing straight. theres no such thing as good evil fun. evil is evil. not good and not fun at least IMHO.

what evil path is there with fierkrag (sp?)?, and how/where is the font to poison in the druid grove? i wanted to do it, but couldn't find a place to click to dump the stuff...any other evil pathways you know of let me know...hard to find stuff to do as an evil character

nael,

You can tell Firkraag that you don't care about Garran and his kids. Focus on the lead Firkraag gives you about the deed to the Windspear Hills. The mage then kills Garran's kid and you have to retrieve the deed for Firkraag (Yeah right, like there ain't one big double cross coming!).

I think to use the font you have to side with the shadow druids? I had Cernd fight the shadow druid and no font is obvious. That's one for the next replay. - Curdis

My favorite evil act so far had to do with Nalia's Keep (now mine).

On my first trip back to the keep a merchant got all uppity with me after he lost one of his caravans. He demanded restitution for his loses, and threatened to forclose on my people's farmland if I didn't do it. Well, nobody puts the squeeze on my subjects but me. So I had him put to death. I felt pretty good about that. Image
Playing evil is fun Image

if you tell anomen at the very beginning that you are not a force for good then if you go to his house in the government district he attacks you...i thought that was funny...

Killing Anomen is a must!!!!! I hate him and his stupid lines. But i think that if you kill him you do a good action, freeing all humanity of a really unuseful man Image Image

Agreed on Anomen, Edwin. But shouldn't you really kill Cernd first if are ridding the world of useless NPC's. I am not even sure that is considered evil- he deserves it IMHO.

Ideally you should bring them into the party long enough to strip them of their stuff, then have Jaheira summon a couple mountain bears to finish the job so you don't need to get your hands bloody.

Anomen may be annoying, but he is one *very* useful NPC indeed. IMHO one of the best.

anomen is a really good NPC since he dual classed at a decently high fighter and is already a strong cleric...but he asked if i was evil, so i told him. so, on the evil choices, do you get much, if any, XP? i chickened out on taking some of the evil approaches because i wanted to make sure i got my levels up.

Waverly, read this. I tried to have Cernd in my party, all the time saying...."maybe he will be useful, someday". Then I saw the light when Edwin said him something like that about a discussion they were having on trees "don't know what he may think about the cleansing power of fire" Image
I decided to rid the world of another useless man: i used his spells and then let him go fighting a group of those monsters that give you 15 points exp (I'M NOT SO EVIL.....). That was funny; he was saying: death is natural.....

This is an EVIL thread, you Anomen lovers Image Here's another one, kill Valygars and lug his body to the planar sphere. You can also allow the fanatics to burn Viconia, leave Jaheira locked in the prison, tattle on the revolting slaves, and bet on the dog fights in the CC.

I myself shy away from such extreme evil. When not playing a good character I generally play some sort of rogue that will lie and steal, but not murder.

LOL, edwin. Nothing like sending an NPC on suicide missions. When sending them, or summoned furry animals for that matter, far ahead into battle you can use them as targets for area effect spells so you know where to cast them.

The druid font to be poisoned is north of the cave. It is a very nice way to get rid of those pesky druids.

I hate Anomen so much. In my latest game i had him go 1 on 3 verses some vampires when he was like level 7. Sometime i still go and visit the little black chunk that is left over :D

I did the poisoning of the font. You have to drop it in before you talk to the druids. But I now can't do any of the other quest in trademeet, they didn't spawn.

I have jaheria walk around in the woods killing animals when I get bored. Oh yeah, after you kill Valygar go back to his house in the docks and kill his man servant and the horde of cowled wizards that teleport in. There is a would be adventurer in trademeet who says he killed a dragon, you have the option to say "Than you will have no trouble defending yourself when I try to take your money".

Yeah Jan 01 to May02 is quite a jump...plenty of time to consider your reply :)

I might post a reply to this:
"I found a portal last night, in the same building where that evil lich is in the bridge district.. You pick the lock on the door to the right of his entrance, and then you step through it and it uses a rogue stone to teleport you somewhere.. The place has some damn powerful mages who summon evil beasties to kill you. Anyone know where you're teleported to (i havent killed them yet) - I have a feeling it's in the planar sphere because i cant seem to get in there without that dude from the umar hills (forgot his name now) "

While we're talking about fun the evil way, can anyone recommend a good (well-rounded) party for my latest PC, a CE half-orc barbarian (Yes he's dual-wielding axes :p )?

I've decided to try out BG2 in classic evil style :D .

EDIT-any suggestions people might have for party formation should no longer include Aerie, in the unlikely chance that they previously did.

My suggestion if you got mods installed...

You
Valen - Fighter-Theif
Solufein - Fighter-Mage?
Edwin - Conjurer
Viconia - Cleric
Korgan - Berserker

looks pretty well-rounded to me.
