i just got the cloak of the sewers the first time i played it i thought it was crap and sold it.
this time i actually used it and u know what:its good to be a RAT
they 're very small so its hard to hit for you're foes and they have much strength and dex. so they do a lot of damage.

some one else how thinks it's great to be a rat?
or what is you're favorite animal to change in ?

Does Mind Flayer count as animal ? Hmn, no shapeshift is really useful except the ones from "Shapeshift", the LVL 9 spell...

Yes they do, I tried to it and they get nice strength and nice dex. I was really amazed, kinda fun to mess around with. Also the troll was nice cause he gets a constitution of 22, which rules. I think its pretty cool.

Shapechanging aside, I'm surprised you would think the only cloak available in BG2 with an AC bonus is 'crap'.

It gets even better if you have the Defender of Easthaven equipped (it might have to be in the off hand, I haven't tried it in the main hand). Your physical resists go above 100%, and then physical damage actually heals you.
