romance timer

When I first played SOA I was a half-orc fighter. I thought I had no romance opportunities, but I just found that there is a patch so I can romance Viconia. Well, I have TOB and want to continue with my half-orc. I saved the game right before the final battle but I don't have Viconia with me. It seems I could transport (cheat) back to the Government District and pick her up then transport back to Hell. But I also heard that the romances have to be started before TOB is loaded. How do I actually get Viconia officially in a Romance setting? When will I know? I am worried that I will have to go through the game timer 20 times before the romance actually starts? Is there a cheat to get to the next dialog?

Any info would be appreciated.

You can use Shadowkeeper, but then you would have to know the right numbers...and with this I can't help you.

The quickest way to get the romance to continue is to go to my site, go to the BGII Patch section and then download the Starting Romance thing. Copy the file VICO25.BCS to the Override folder. Then load up your game and continue into ToB, use the Abyssal Fortress to summon Viconia and when she join the party the ToB romance will start.
