Four questions

1) Is there a location I can go to and find when characters get new weapon skills--at which levels they get them?
2) Has anyone used the Wand of Wonder in combat? Does it tend to damage the enemy more than it does you?
3) I finally killed Kangaxx, although I'm not sure just how I did it. Does anyone know what can hit that thing? The demi-lich does not seem to have protection spells on him, but no spells seem to hurt him much. As for weapons--do you need +5? Extremely frustrating.
4) Is the "stun" effect caused by a specific spell? What cures it? I have been unable to remove stun.

+4 weapons or better and a few spells like Melfs Miniture Meteors(sp?) and fire elementals will also hit him.

Although I dont know exactly and for sure what your asking here, i'll assume this is about proficiencies. As far as I know, the only way to get them is to level up. I dont have any tables for you
, but check the main Game Banshee BGII site, maybye what you seek is there.
2) Has anyone used the Wand of Wonder in combat? Does it tend to damage the enemy more than it does you?
I've only used it a couple times, but the results are generally good, like flamestrike or something. I guess it just is a matter of luck.
3) I finally killed Kangaxx, although I'm not sure just how I did it. Does anyone know what can hit that thing? The demi-lich does not seem to have protection spells on him, but no spells seem to hurt him much. As for weapons--do you need +5? Extremely frustrating.
I think he has very high resistances, but there are a few weapons that do good damage. Corosmyr will do 2-3 pts. of damage/hit, Everard's Sling will do 1 a hit, and occasionally, the Gesen Bow will do 1-2 pts. of damage. The Ring of the Ram's attack does full damage, so I consider it, along with a protection from magic scroll and Corosmyr, essential. Those are the only weapons I've had good results with, unfortunately.
4) Is the "stun" effect caused by a specific spell? What cures it? I have been unable to remove stun.
Yeah, some spells, weapons, and creature special abilities stun. Sometimes, I think Dispel Magick works, but other than that, i'm drawing blanks.
Hope this helps

1. This is from the file in the game:
MAGE: 1 - 6
FIGHTER: 4 - 3
CLERIC: 2 - 4
THIEF: 2 - 4
BARD: 2 - 4
PALADIN: 4 - 3
DRUID: 2 - 4
RANGER: 4 - 3
FIGHTER_MAGE: 4 - 3
FIGHTER_CLERIC: 4 - 3
FIGHTER_THIEF: 4 - 3
FIGHTER_MAGE_THIEF: 4 - 3
MAGE_THIEF: 2 - 4
CLERIC_MAGE: 2 - 4
CLERIC_THIEF: 2 - 4
FIGHTER_DRUID: 4 - 3
FIGHTER_MAGE_CLERIC: 4 - 3
CLERIC_RANGER: 4 - 3
SORCERER: 1 - 6
MONK: 2 - 4
The first number means the amount of proficient point the character have at level 1, the second one tell you the rate that they will earn points, in term of levels.
So, at level 1, a monk have 2 proficiency points, and he/she gain one additional point for every 4 levels.
Agnocar: Sorry about the numbers, I was editing it when the Net just freezed on me, had to restart the computer. Hope it make sense now.

Thank you all very much for this helpful information! What nice people there are on this board.
I did use the Ring of the Ram on Kangaxx, and I guess it was that, plus good old Mazzy and the Gesen Bow, that did him in (while my main character, a heroic Berserker, hid in the corner so he wouldn't be Imprisoned after his Enrage had expired.)
